da fezbet: Mauricio Pochettino has been a free agent for a couple of weeks now following his sacking from Tottenham Hotspur. Of course, in his place came none other than Jose Mourinho and the Special One has already been working his magic over in London.
da wazamba: But still, everyone is wondering what might be next for the Argentine manager now that he’s out of a job.
And a recent report coming from Manchester Evening News stated that Pochettino actually wants to take over Manchester United, in case of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s sacking, of course. Upon seeing that update, however, Spurs fans were quite divided on the matter.

Many of them actually tried seeing the silver lining in that potential appointment as that would mean he would not go to Arsenal. Interestingly enough, he was also linked with that gig as well, with Unai Emery now sacked and Freddie Ljungberg only acting as an interim manager.
But after more than five years at the helm of Spurs, that move would seem rather weird for him.
Still, even though Manchester United also sound like a strange choice at first, some of the fans could also see it happening while others simply said they are ready to move on from Pochettino.

Of course, with reports stating that Pochettino would have to give up the money he was still owed by the club if he were to take another Premier League gig, some were also quick to point out that they would gladly take that trade.
Not to mention that Levy would, according to them, be more than happy to cash in on his former manager as that would mean saving on a potentially hefty sum.
Be that as it may, it would definitely be interesting to see Pochettino handle the “back office” of Manchester United, as one fan points out, considering that the likes of Paul Pogba have even given Mourinho a hard time in the past.
The Argentine is definitely a top-tier coach, that much he proved by taking Tottenham all the way to the Champions League final, but is he the right man to take over Solskjaer and handle the pressure of being the Red Devils’ gaffer?
Only time will tell.
