da spicy bet: Tottenham Hotspur won a game in the 90th minute on Sunday.
da aposte e ganhe: Not only that, Tottenham Hotspur won an away game in the 90th minute on Sunday.
Now, of course, this is nothing particularly new in terms of Spurs’ history. Mauricio Pochettino had his side beating Ajax with the last kick of the ball last season as they progressed to a historic Champions League final.
But it felt like a rejuvenation this season.
Under Pochettino, Spurs hadn’t won away in the Premier League since January, when they beat Fulham 2-1. Harry Winks scored a last-minute winner in that game.
Here, under Jose Mourinho, Spurs weren’t at their best against Wolves. Adama Traore had a field day against Jan Vertonghen at left-back, scoring a superb goal and completing five dribbles and it seemed as though victory was slipping through their fingers, despite Lucas Moura giving them the lead.
They won a corner late on, though, after a rare foray forward and Christian Eriksen’s delivery was perfect; Vertonghen stooped to head the ball past Rui Patricio and into the bottom corner.

Mourinho celebrated with élan on the sidelines, even breaking out a knee slide.
It felt as though this win showed that his players have what it takes to grind out a result, to keep going even when the odds are against them. Wolves, by all manner of means, probably should have won the game.
But now Spurs are in a position that means they can climb into the top four next weekend. A win over Chelsea, Mourinho’s old club, would see them leapfrog Frank Lampard’s men and head back into the Champions League qualification spots.
This new mentality, then, is going to be tested.
Spurs are at home, which is something, but in their last 12 meetings with the Blues, they have won just four.
Those games have included two 3-1 wins at home, but also a 4-2 FA Cup semi-final defeat and a 2-1 defeat in the League Cup semi-final second leg earlier this year, with Spurs having led 1-0 from the first leg.
It shows that Tottenham have often struggled to beat the Blues when it matters most.

And that is why next weekend is so important.
A victory will leave Spurs in a commanding position as the festive period rolls on, particularly with seemingly soft fixtures against Brighton & Hove Albion, Norwich City and Southampton to follow.
A loss, though, will leave them with ground to make up.
It remains to be seen if Mourinho really has changed their mentality.
Meanwhile, Mourinho has delivered his verdict on Sunday’s win.
