da betsul: After breaking onto the Old Trafford scene in the 2017/2018 campaign, Scott McTominay really became more of a household name this season.
The Scotland international made 22 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice and became an important part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first-team squad.
However, following United’s interest in West Ham centre-back Issa Diop, Sky Sports claim that the Hammers have asked about McTominay’s availability and would be interested in taking him to the London Stadium this summer.
The news brought a mixed reaction from fans of the Manchester side on Twitter and a real debate ensued over whether the 22-year-old was good enough to really cut it at the highest level.

Many of McTominay’s supporters pointed to his hard work and dedication to the cause as ample reason enough for him to stay, particularly with some of United’s players being criticised for their poor attitude on and off the pitch.
Others however were slightly more ruthless in their response and claimed the Scot wasn’t good enough for a team trying to challenge for the top four and that the best decision would be to allow him to move on.
