da prosport bet: According to an exclusive report from Football League World, Leicester have had a bid rejected for Reading’s Danny Loader.
What’s the word?
Leicester have a number of promising young players coming through their ranks at the moment with Brendan Rodgers looking to build a team centred around rising stars.
James Maddison was crucial to the Foxes last term whilst Hamza Choudhury and Ben Chilwell are also important cogs in the side.
However, they could be adding more growing talents to their team. The Daily Mail suggests that James Justin could join in a deal worth £12m whilst they’ve also been pursuing Loader according to Football League World.
They claim that the Midlands outfit have had a bid rejected for the player who has also attracted enquiries from Premier League clubs Arsenal, Chelsea and Wolves.

Also in the market for the player per the report are Juventus, Dortmund, Borussia Monchengladbach and Lyon.
Iheanacho at risk
If Leicester return with another bid for the 18-year-old attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho could be at severe risk of dropping down the pecking order further.
Of course the Royals man will actually have to sign first but considering the Nigerian’s form last term, it would be quite simple for a new striker coming in to dislodge him.
Although Loader scored just one goal in 21 appearances in the Championship last term, the potential he has is enormous. You only need to glance over at some of the clubs that have an interest in him to realise that.
Coincidentally, Iheanacho also scored just once in 2018/19, finding himself reduced to just nine Premier League starts.
His performances were incredibly poor and as a consequence, he’s been left out of Nigeria’s squad for the Africa Cup of Nations this summer.

Considering the player he was at Manchester City, his meteoric fall from grace has been quite something. He was once one of the most clinical young forwards in the Premier League but that’s now all in the past.
If Leicester do manage to bring a striker like Loader to the King Power then it put Iheanacho in grave danger of suffering another setback.
Under both Claude Puel and Brendan Rodgers he’s been frustrating and it’s difficult to see him turning his fortunes around.
After all, he hasn’t started a game since January, which means Loader would only prove even more detrimental for the 22-year-old.
