da bet7k: Bournemouth should demand that Chelsea give them Tammy Abraham and Ruben Loftus-Cheek if the Blues are serious about signing the Cherries’ star man Callum Wilson, and they reportedly are according to The Telegraph’s Matt Law.
What’s the word, then?
Eddie Howe’s side are rumoured to want around £50m for their prolific frontman, who has scored eight goals and set up five more for his teammates in just 15 Premier League starts this season.
His form has led to a first ever England call-up for the 26-year-old, in which he managed to score on his debut for the national team against the United States.
This form has caught the eye of Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea, who are on the lookout for a new frontman given Alvaro Morata’s struggles and Olivier Giroud’s advancing years. As a result of this desperation, however, the west London side are in a poor negotiating position as other clubs will ramp their prices up in the knowledge that they need a forward.
How could Bournemouth get the best deal?
A chance to play European football, play at the highest level and win trophies will no doubt be of interest to Wilson, so the South Coast side should prepare themselves for his departure if he keeps this form up.
If it is to be Chelsea that secure the England international, then Howe and his team must ensure that they get the best possible deal by demanding that the Blues give them a replacement in Abraham, and a precocious midfield talent in Loftus-Cheek.
Former Wigan & Fulham man, Jimmy Bullard recently showed that he’s still got it! Check out the video below...
21-year-old Abraham has been in sensational form for Aston Villa this season whilst on loan at Villa Park. He has hit 12 goals in 16 starts, including four goals in one game against Nottingham Forest.
In Loftus-Cheek’s case, the 22-year-old has six goals in six starts in the Premier League and the Europa League, and is definitely far too good to be sitting on the Stamford Bridge bench.
