Although they lostRajiv Nayyar early, opener Sandeep Sharma put on 66 runs with AmitSharma for the second wicket. Sharma combined again with Sangram Singhto post 158 runs for the fourth wicket.Himachal Pradesh ended their innings on 304/7, with Sharma making 92and Sangram a quick 93 off 97 balls. The bowlers then swung intoaction; GP Singh (44) top-scored in a total of 209/7 as HimachalPradesh’s bowlers restricted Jammu & Kashmir admirably. HimachalPradesh thus registered a 95-run win to start their Ranji one-daycampaign.
