da 888casino: Barcelona midfielder Xavi has stated that Chelsea will feel the power of his side’s anger when the teams meet on Tuesday at Camp Nou.
It has been a bad week for the European champions, who lost the first leg of their Champions League semi-final 1-0 at Stamford Bridge last week, before being defeated 2-1 by Real Madrid on Saturday to all but hand over their La Liga crown.
The Spain international has stated that the Catalan team are motivated to make the final and want to set things right against Roberto Di Matteo’s men.
“We are lucky because on Tuesday we’re playing for a place in the Champions League final,” he told the Spanish media, translated to English by The Sun.
“I wish we could play Chelsea on Monday. We want to overturn the deficit against Chelsea and show we deserve to be in the final.
“Our fans are intelligent and they know that on Tuesday we’re playing half our season so we want the supporters behind us all the way.
“We have it in our hands to have a great season. It would be an historic achievement to get to another Champions League final and also win the Spanish Cup.
“I imagine Chelsea will be camped outside their own half so we will try to find spaces to ‘open the can’,” he concluded.
