da wazamba: Everton boss Sam Allardyce has revealed that he cannot wait for Yannick Bolasie to return to first-team action at Goodison Park.
da dobrowin: Bolasie has not represented Everton since rupturing a cruciate knee ligament against Manchester United more than 12 months ago.
The attacker recently featured for Everton’s Under-23 team, however, and has been tipped to play a part in Monday’s Premier League clash with Swansea City.
Allardyce, who has overseen an immediate improvement at Goodison Park, has claimed that the return of the 28-year-old will be a major boost for the Toffees at this stage of the season.
Allardyce told reporters:
“The team has been crying out for what he offers. Yannick is blessed with dynamic movements and pace that cause defenders great concern.
“He probably occupies two players when he’s at his best because he’s such a danger in possession. He’s a player who has come from the lower leagues and built his way up to the top level of football.”
Bolasie, who is rated at £18m by transfermarkt.co.uk, joined Everton from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2016, and he has scored once in 15 appearances for the Merseyside outfit in all competitions.
Everton will look to continue their unbeaten December when they host Swansea, before welcoming Chelsea to Goodison Park on December 23.
The Toffees will when travel to West Bromwich Albion and Bournemouth ahead of a home game against Manchester United on New Year’s Day.
