da betcris: Leeds United currently have 20 players out on loan, and while the likes of Pawel Cibicki, Hadi Sacko and Jay-Roy Grot are struggling to make an impression at their temporary clubs, the same can’t be said for Mallik Wilks.
The 19-year-old winger, who has made just the one senior appearance for the Yorkshire outfit, has started the campaign with Doncaster Rovers on fire, scoring four goals and providing a further three assists in 13 appearances in all competitions.
The versatile attacker, who can play on either flank or even through the middle as a centre-forward, is considered to be one of Leeds’ best young players, and he would certainly face a test to break into Marcelo Bielsa’s squad on his return to Elland Road – especially if they make it to the Premier League this term.
Strangely enough – or perhaps a clever tactical ploy to boost his chances of convincing Wilks to sign permanently – Rovers manager Grant McCann has already said, via The Yorkshire Post, that he believes “he will not ever get a chance at Leeds”.

Given his attacking quality and versatility – as well as the fact he has time on his side – the talented teenager will have the chance to make an impression for the Whites in the future, especially as they are currently lacking quality options on the flanks.
